Welcome to the town of Snowhaven.
Snowhaven was established in 1865 by Duke Porter Montague. Duke Montague came to America, along with his wife the Duchess AnnaMaria Montague, after winning a high-stakes poker game. The deed to the land was put up as collateral during a quite intense round. But in the end, Porter won the hand by bluffing the other player.
When the Duke and Duchess arrived in America, they wasted no time in contacting an architect, to design the house he and his wife wanted. Once the design was completed, they packed up and headed to Denver, CO.
Once they arrived in Denver, they found a home to live in whilst their home, aptly named Snowhaven, was being built.

wanted to be done was to have a giant wall constructed around the entire property.
You see, many people for a few years wondered why Porter left England with his bride, AnnaMaria. What would cause a man to just suddenly up and move like he did.
Well, the answer was simple, he won the plot of land and decided that he wanted to build a safe haven for others like his wife. AnnaMaria was a werewolf. And she needed a place to run. To hunt. He also wanted to build a sanctuary for others who were like her.
